Livingston's Buckeye State Tomato Seeds

LIVINGSTON’S BUCKEYE STATE

Introduced by A.W. Livingston’s Sons in 1893, Buckeye State started out on their trial grounds simply as “No. 10.” At the time, Livingston described it as the largest-fruited tomato they had ever introduced, averaging about twice the size of Beauty.

Indeterminate plants produce big, beautiful deep-pink tomatoes with thick, meaty flesh and excellent flavor. Fruits can reach a pound or more, yet the plants are surprisingly productive. Definitely one of the standouts in the old Livingston collection.
