LIVINGSTON’S GULF STATE MARKET

Gulf State Market has an interesting history. It was discovered by Walter Richards as a single plant growing in a field of Early Detroit in Crystal Springs, Mississippi around 1917 and was introduced by D.M. Ferry in 1921. This is the historic Livingston strain of the variety.

Indeterminate plants produce loads of smooth, round pink tomatoes with firm, juicy flesh and classic tomato flavor. An old Southern market tomato known for its productivity, earliness and ability to handle the heat.
