LIVINGSTON’S POTATO LEAF
Introduced by A.W. Livingston in 1887, Potato Leaf was selected for its strong growth and ability to perform well in heavy soils and hot weather. Its heavy foliage helped shade and protect the fruit from the sun, making it especially useful in warmer growing areas.
Indeterminate plants produce smooth, firm, medium-sized red to purplish-red tomatoes with meaty flesh, few seeds and good old-fashioned flavor. One of the more unusual Livingston varieties and a really neat one to help keep alive.
