Madara is a beautiful and fairly uncommon Swedish heirloom cherry that was introduced to the SSE Exchange in 1990 by Lars Olov Rostenstrom of Bromma, Sweden.

Vigorous, indeterminate plants produce heavy clusters of gorgeous golden-orange cherry tomatoes with a wonderfully rich, sweet flavor. The fruits are larger than your average cherry, juicy and exceptionally good for fresh eating. Madara has been praised by longtime tomato growers for both its productivity and flavor.
